There is no rest for the weary! When our county schools announced a new closing date due to "Professional Learning", we knew we had to squeeze in another trip, even if it was during an already jam-packed weekend (hence, the Sunday departure). We've actually been meaning to take a trip to Bozeman, ever since Southwest announced this new destination last May. We found a great deal last August, but we cancelled the night before because we were just "too tired" (yes, that can happen!). We re-booked it multiple times: First in December and then again in March. Each time, the plans fell through. Thus, we didn't really expect this one to happen, either. So, we used our points for flights and hotels, essentially making this a free trip out west. When it turned out that the weather was going to be "reasonable" (not rainy and in the low 60s), we finally committed - I think! The main goal, of course, is to knock off a couple more national park sites, including one that we last visited in 2015.

9:00am: We have a long (almost 4-hour) layover in Denver. The airport is not near anything, but if we feel really ambitious, we might wander outside for a short bit before continuing onto Montana.

9:00am: Check out a local attraction, such as the Museum of the Rockies. Or, check out the mountains near Big Sky. Or, if we didn't get a chance to do Yellowstone on Monday and the weather cooperates, check out the plowed areas of that park. Or, just chill out in the hotel for most of the morning and catch up on work.
