Happy Lunar New Year 2022! In celebration of the holiday (or, more likely, the fact that the kids have a scheduled day off from school), we're headed back to the sunshine state. However, once again, the sun is not expected to make an appearance on this visit, as a nearby front will bring a lot of clouds, wind, and rough surf to the ocean side of south Florida. We're only here for the day (early morning to late night), so we won't have a chance to drive out to the gulf coast, where temperatures will be warmer and the skies will be sunnier. Oh, well - we're still going to Florida in the middle of winter, so we really have nothing to complain about... except for the craziness of this trip, coming on the heels of getting home at 2am the day before from California!
